Created in 1995 the Associação Cultural Kinoforum, a cultural and non-profit organization, develops activities and projects supporting the development of the language and the cinema production with emphasis to the promotion of the Brazilian audiovisual.

In collaboration with associations and national and international events, it promotes the divulgation of the Brazilian and Latin American Audiovisual.

It is responsible for several activities such as São Paulo International Short Films Festival – Curta Kinoforum, Digital Screen of Video Festival, Kinoforum Workshops of Audiovisual Filmmaking, Guide Kinoforum for Film and Video Festivals, Kinooikos.com and Kinolounge and Short Review.

The audience of the Festival is asked to vote and a list of the ten audience favorites will be announced during the closing ceremony. The event is also open to partnerships with different short film promoters and companies, which may result in other awards to be announced during the closing ceremony.

Founder and director of the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival. Since 2001, she has developed the Kinoforum Workshops of Audiovisual Filmmaking aimed at training young people from needy communities. She is a member of Superfilmes, where she has been working as a producer since 1983, enabling projects of independent filmmakers in different areas of audiovisual production. She produced more than ten feature films. For TV, She produced series and documentaries. With a permanent dedication to the format of the short film produced a portfolio of more than twenty films, awarded in Brazil and abroad, revealing several exponents of the new generation of Brazilian cinema. She’s the executive coordinator of the Associação Cultural Kinoforum projects, a non-profit organization that, in addition to holding the Sao Paulo ISFF and the Kinoforum Workshops of Audiovisual Filmmaking, publishes the Guide Kinoforum for Film and Video Festivals and promotes activities related to the diffusion of Brazilian cinema in Brazil and Abroad.
