Samir Karahoda completed his studies in Photography at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul where at the moment he is pursuing his MA studies. Works as a freelance photographer and cinematographer. He’s debut short documentary “In between” in 2019 was premiered at Berlinale short competition program. Since 2003 works as programmer of short films at Dokufest, Documentary and Short Film Festival, Prizren in Kosovo. Dokufest is the largest cultural event in Kosova and one of the main festivals in the region. Dokufest besides organization of a film festival runs a cinema that screens on daily bases commercial, independent and documentary films.
