Board of directors

During the latest general assemblee in Clermont-Ferrand, the following board of directors was appointed:


FrankMoens Frank Moens

Frank started working for the International Short Film Festival Leuven (Belgium) since 2004. In the following years the festival gained recognition national (via the Flemish Audiovisual Fund the festival is able to award over 250.000 euro in (short) film production support) and internationally (the festival received Academy Award status in 2012). Frank co-founded and is festival director for the DOCVILLE documentary film Belgium. He recently produced his first feature length documentary, The Quantum Revolution.

timredford Tim Redford

Born in England, raised in France, Tim spent 10 years in Spain working as director of Curtocircuito International Short Film Festival of Santiago de Compostela. Tim now works for Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival as coordinator of the international competition and on the Festival side of, the online platform Clermont created 12 years ago.

ginad Gina Dellabarca

Based in New Zealand, running an Academy Awards-accredited short film festival that plays in over 20 cities and towns nationwide.  Gina’s background is in PR for films, marketing and communications for the broader entertainment industry, and cinema management.

laurenceb Laurence Boyce

Originally from the UK but now based in Tallinn, Estonia. Laurence is the Programme Director of Internatioanl Film Festival Sleepwalkers, which is part of the Black Nights Film Festival. Laurence is also a journalist and film critic who writes for many publications including being the editor of Cineuropa Shorts.

torils Toril Simonsen

Head of International Relations Short and Documentary Films at the Norwegian Film Institute. In the years 1981-2003, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Short Film Festival and in 1989–1991 the director of the festival. One of the founders of the Nordic short and documentary film festival Nordisk Panorama, co-director of the first festival in 1990.

zita-ok Zita Carvalhosa

Founder and director of the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festiva, producer and Creative director of the Tela Digital Video Festival (2019-20110, a competitive event for Brazilian shorts, integrating Internet and TV.
Chairman and producer of Superfilmes, an active film company since 1983.
seigo Seigo Tono

Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia director Seigo Tono has been with the event since its second edition in 2000, when it was called the American Short Shorts Film Festival and showed only U.S. films. Since then it has evolved into what Tono describes as “a global event, featuring cutting-edge shorts from around the world.”
